Advanced Studio Photography of Murano Art Glass.
Perform cutting edge glass photography in my Murano-based studio, where we'll have the finest equipment at our disposal including powerful Balcar Nexus flash generators and an extensive array of banks and reflectors (by Balcar, Manfrotto, Profoto). Learn how to flawlessly capture the shiny surface, brilliance, and colorful transparencies of this most demanding material.
With an updated studio monorail camera and high resolution Schneider and Rodenstock digital lenses attached to a Canon EOS-1ds Mark III, we'll produce pristine digital files capable of producing man-sized prints. The invaluable techniques you learn here can also be utilized with the simplest of lighting systems.
You'll learn how to shoot tethered to an Apple Macbook Pro, from which you control exposure and camera settings. Composing, finding of the exact focal point with life-view, and perfect image evaluation with histograms will all be executed on the computer screen. You'll perform image capture, evaluation and raw-conversion using the PhaseOne Capture One 6 program on this day, and more in depth during the Digital Workflow workshop.
